Uspavanka za vagabunde - opinions
Mateja Blaznik is a classically educated guitarist however, with enough of ideas, will and courage to keep her work easily recognizable. Her collaboration with the band Tantadruj and Boštjan Soklič gave her a possibility to develop her own musical expression. Mateja`s songs are permeated with the spirit of minimalism; she selects clear and understandable lyrics, nevertheless her performance is luxurious. Nowadays when we barely have time for anything, suddenly a record »Lullaby for vagabonds« appears, demands a moment of attention, and surely gets it. Aleš Hadalin
The music of Mateja Blaznik makes us stop for a while, to quiet down ... and forget rushing. It is designed for everyone who are prepared to take a little time for themselves, prepared to take a deep breath and surrender themselves to the moment ... To become vagabond. Mateja`s music is known for her classic guitar, complemented by tender voice of Aleš Hadalin. Blaž Račič
The record is neither classic nor pop. It`s not new or old., but outside of time. It is humble and fragile, nevertheless strong music offered in a minimal manner. One of the rare pearls of modern Slovenian musical tender. Zdenko Matoz
Her gentle guitar poetry gives an audience a touch of shrewdness, her intimate experience fascinates us again and again. Mateja`s deep personal approach is definitively the first bonus on the album. The record consists of both, music and poetry. It is closer than we think, many of us are living it. Igor Kavčič
